  1. Caring and daring is the key. Sara became an entrepreneur simply because she saw a real problem that women had, and decided to do something about it. She had no business experience, no retail experience, and only $5,000 in savings. She didn’t have it all figured out, she just dared to solve a problem she cared about and make it happen.
  2. Purpose is the intersection of 3 things. What you enjoy, what you are good at, and how you want to serve the world. For the first two, make a list, and circle the ones you feel most strongly about. If you’re not sure how you want to serve the world, think about what breaks your heart.
  3. Start with doing, not validation seeking. We all know people who talk but never do, or let others talk them into not doing. When you share your ideas prematurely, you’ll end up just explaining your idea and defending it rather than actually pursuing it. After you’ve worked on it for a while to the point you know sharing it with others will only move it forward, and not cause you to doubt yourself, then share it.
  4. Find time for your mind to wander. Because that’s when the best ideas pop into your head. Often this is when you’re spending time alone and relaxed. Spend a week alone writing…
